Biography

Logan is a senior from Pewaukee, Wisconsin on the Conservation Science and Policy (CSP) Track. He's served as a research assistant for Professor Tyler Kartzinel, working on conservation genomics for dietary analysis. He's also contributed to Professor Amanda Lynch's research group, working on intersections of indigenous self-determination and environment in Greenland. This year he's pursuing an honors thesis with Professor Leslie Acton on the challenges and opportunities to climate resilience when utilizing conservation based solutions. Outside of research, Logan has been a legal intern for Central Falls Rhode Island, an intern at Foundation for Individual Rights and Expressions, and most recently finished up a role working for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service through the Yale Conservation Scholars Program. Outside of his efforts in conservation and climate change, Logan is the Class Coordinating Board Student Gov. Co-president, serves as Policy Director for Brown University Democrats, is a Meiklejohn, and is a mentor for the Presidential Scholars Program. In his free time, Logan is a voracious TV and movie watcher (currently binging Game of Thrones), enjoys swimming at the Nelson, and is an avid bracelet maker. He would be thrilled to chat about securing internships for credit or funding, advise on which classes to take, help navigate IBES and the university, chat about research, or anything else!"
