Institute at Brown for Environment and Society

Mia is a senior from Atlanta, GA, concentrating in Environmental Studies on the Environment and Inequality (ENI) track. Her interests include environmental justice, earth science, crafting, dance, hiking, and so much more. At Brown, Mia is a part of Attitude Dance Company, Brown Outdoor Leadership Training (BOLT), and Old Time String Band. She has worked for the Roger Williams Park Botanical Center (through the IBES Summer Internship Program), Brown Office of Sustainability, and other ENVS-related positions. In Spring 2023, she studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark and learned about glaciers and living abroad. Mia is happy to talk about the ENI track, environmental internships at Brown and beyond, study abroad, knitting, or whatever else needs discussing!
