Biography
I am a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Economics. My research interests are in the fields of economic growth and development, political economy, culture, and population. In particular, I research how disease environment and epidemic outbreaks affect inter-group attitudes and identities; how cultural and political attitudes are transmitted along the networks of ancestral ties; and how environmental dissimilarity between the homelands of various population groups creates dissimilarities in behaviors, cultures, and preferences.
