Biography
Bryce studies long-term (thousand- to million-year) cycles in Earth's hydroclimate, particularly how African monsoons respond to changes in global ocean temperature, using the isotopic composition of sedimentary materials. Precipitation in many of these regions is expected to change dramatically in response to 21st century warming, and better data from past warm climates will help constrain these projections.
