Biography
Bryce Mitsunaga is an isotope geochemist reconstructing long-term (thousand- to million-year) climate change, particularly in Africa and the Mediterranean during past greenhouse periods. He uses the chemistry of fossils, organic matter, and sediment to reconstruct ocean temperatures and terrestrial rainfall and how the former affects the latter.
