Biography
My interdisciplinary research lies at the intersection of comparative ethics and the environmental humanities. With particular interests in film and literature, my dissertation argues that common affects associated with climate change problematically limit our ethical and political responses to ecological problems. My research on aesthetics, environmental and social ethics, and queer theory has appeared or is forthcoming in journals such as the Journal of the American Academy of Religion, Journal for the Study of Religion, Nature, and Culture, and elsewhere.
