Emma is a senior from New York City on the ENI track. She is a research assistant with the Climate and Development Lab and TAed Urban Agriculture last semester. Emma was an IBES Summer Intern at the Rhode Island Nature Conservancy this past summer, focusing on coastal restoration. She is also on the Youth Advisory Board of the Wild Center’s Youth Climate Program, where she does climate education outreach and was part of their delegation to COP26 last fall. Her past environmental work/internship experience includes working at the Advanced Consortium on Cooperation, Conflict, and Complexity at Columbia University for the Environment, Peace, and Sustainability program and interning for the Women’s Earth Alliance. When she’s not stressing out about climate change, Emma can be seen wheeling an upright bass around campus to various musical groups, from the Brown University Orchestra to an all-femme funk band.
