Institute at Brown for Environment and Society

Lily (she/her) double-concentrates in ENVS and English and is considering a career in environmental writing. As IBES’s media communications assistant, she helps run the department’s social media accounts and writes profiles on current students, professors, and alums. During her summers, Lily has interned with a Rhode Island environmental consulting company, the Audubon Society, and Stone Pier Press, a San Francisco-based environmental publisher. At Brown, Lily serves as a Meiklejohn and the Copy Desk Chief for The Brown Daily Herald. She is more than happy to talk about navigating ENVS, double-concentrating, exploring one’s varying interests, favorite books, and just about anything else.
