Biography

Nimisha Wagle is a Ph.D. student at the Department of Earth, Environmental, and Planetary Sciences (DEEPS). She is interested in using satellite imagery to understand the hydrological change in the Northern latitudes. Nimisha is currently involved in a project which utilizes remote sensing data to study the connectivity of surface water in the Canadian Shield region. She will also be participating in the Cal/Val of NASA SWOT satellite mission. Before Brown, Nimisha received her B.E. degree in Geomatics from Kathmandu University, Nepal, in 2017 and worked as a Survey Officer at the Survey Department, Government of Nepal on mapping land covers and updating topographical base maps.
