Catherine Kwei Shih '01
Biography
Catherine has 25 years of experience in private equity across Asia and the US. From 2010, she built the Hong Kong office of Quilvest Capital Partners, a multi family office and fund of funds, where she has served as the Partner leading the Asia private equity program and a member of the Global Investment Committee. She represents Quilvest on numerous LP Advisory Committees. In addition, she has been responsible for separate account investor activities, including partnering with Potentum’s founders for the past decade.
Catherine’s previous experience includes primary fund investments at HarbourVest Partners, as well as strategy and due diligence at Bain & Company in Boston, New York, and Asia.
Catherine holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics and Computer Science from Brown University. She is active in non profit work, including the Brown University Annual Fund Leadership Council.
