Voss Fellowships are the premier training and funding opportunities for undergraduates interested in environmental research at Brown. Awardees receive a competitive stipend, additional funds for research, and, if eligible, a Departmental Summer Earnings Waiver (DSEW) award to offset financial aid obligations. They are open to rising seniors in any concentration who intend to pursue a summer research experience that will become the framework for their honors thesis.
A limited set of funding is available for ENVS concentrators who are pursuing an unpaid environmental internship, a research experience with a Brown faculty member or a research experience with a faculty member at another university.
