Amy Mayer

Biography
Amy Mayer has a background in wildlife ecology, with research interest in understanding how wildlife respond to human development and landscape change, and has studied a number of mammal species including bobcat, fisher, and New England cottontail. She earned her BS and MSc in Wildlife Conservation Biology and Environmental Science from the University of Rhode Island. Her current research in Professor Laurence C. Smith's lab focuses on understanding causes of muskrat population decline.
