Biography
Elizabeth (Lizzy) Wong is a PhD student in American Studies at Brown University. Her research focuses on the law, politics, and ethics of transnational climate migration. She examines how colonial and imperial power shape the governance of climate-related mobilities, both in efforts to restrict asylum and in the expansion of temporary labour migration programs as a form of climate adaptation. She completed her BA (Hons.) in Diaspora and Transnational Studies and Ethics, Society, and Law at the University of Toronto.
