Shanuki Tillekeratne's research broadly relates to the international political economy of energy transitions. Tillekeratne is interested in understanding how the unequal distribution of power shapes climate finance flows (who receives finance and why), how misallocation can hinder progress in the transition, and how funding to developing countries plays out on the ground.
