Dawn King recognized as outstanding undergraduate advisor

Visiting Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies Dawn King was recently awarded the CareerLAB's Comfort and Urry Prize, an award recognizing her excellence as mentor and career advisor to Brown undergraduates. Several students submitted passionate nominations on King's behalf, expressing their gratitude for her support and guidance as they made plans for their post-graduation lives. King, who has been teaching at the University for three years, was chosen unanimously for this prize by the CareerLAB, the University's Center for Careers and Life After Brown.

Professor King will assume a new role at Brown starting in July, as a rostered IBES Fellow and Lecturer of Environmental Studies.
