Graduate student Chelsea Parker has been granted the First Place award for Best Student Oral Presenter for her talk at January's 14th Symposium on the Coastal Environment, held at the 96th meeting of the American Meteorological Society in New Orleans.
Parker was issued the award for her presentation, Investigating the Relationships between Tropical Cyclones, Sediment Loading, and Algal Blooms over the Great Barrier Reef. A recording of her talk can be accessed at the AMS website.
