Meredith Hastings has been promoted to Professor of Environment and Society & Earth, Environmental and Planetary Sciences. Hastings' research interests span air quality, atmospheric chemistry, acid deposition and biogeochemistry. She is also co-founder of the Earth Science Women's Network. She will become IBES Deputy Director as of July 1, 2020. Learn more>>
James Kellner has been promoted to Peggy and Henry D. Sharpe Associate Professor of Environmental Studies and Associate Professor of Environment and Society & Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. Kellner's work involves examining responses of forests to changes in the environment, population dynamics, and remote sensing. Learn more>>
Wendell Walters has been appointed Assistant Professor (Research) in Environment and Society. Walters was formerly a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Hastings Lab.
Matthew Margetta has been promoted to Managing Director of IBES. Margetta was formerly Grants and Contracts Manager for the Institute.
Paula Francis has been promoted to Grants and Contracts Specialist. Francis was formerly Financial Coordinator for the Institute.
