Biography

In my research, I am interested in understanding how the presence of the BSF (Border Security Forces) on the India-Bangladesh border creates ecological fragilities, alters the already vulnerable delta of the Bay of Bengal, and impacts residents at the border. More particularly, I want to look at the ways in which presence of the border police has instigated long-term transformations of the borderlands.
