Biography

Beth is an anthropological archaeologist interested in colonialism, pastoralism, and environmental change in the Andes. Her current research combines archaeological survey and excavation with geoarchaeological techniques, remote sensing, and modeling to explore the intersections between pastoral ecologies, mining, and globalization during the Spanish colonial period in the Peruvian Andes.
