Biography
Brianna is a first year PhD student in DEEPS working in Dr. Tim Herbert's paleoceanography lab. Her research interests include the role of the ocean and its currents in driving global climate (e.g. heat transport), past sea surface conditions, and paleoecology of the oceans. Brianna's initial research in the lab will likely center on how the Gulf Stream formed and shifted during the formation of the isthmus of Panama.
