Biography

Brianna is a PhD student working with Dr. Timothy Herbert in the Department of Earth, Environmental, and Planetary Sciences. Currently, she is working on reconstructing sea surface temperatures during Pliocene glacial events at sites in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. While at Brown, Brianna aspires to utilize her interests and expertise in marine biogeochemistry and ecology to better understand marine phytoplankton community response to climate change and how this may impact our interpretation of biomarker-based proxies.
