Brianna is currently working on reconstructing sea surface temperature records using alkenone paleothermometry to answer questions regarding the MIS M2 Glacial Event, which was a brief, enigmatic glaciation that occurred about 3.3 million years ago. Specifically, she's investigating if the surface ocean and deep ocean trends correlate during this interval, and if this was a truly global event.
