Biography
I study past hydroclimate variability and El Niño events in the Tropical Pacific region. I am using geochemical proxies in fossil corals to reconstruct past sea surface temperatures and create a record of past ENSO variability. I am interested in using this research to understand how ENSO responds to climate change.
