I am broadly interested in STS, media archaeology, and discard studies. I am currently researching a superfund site in Brooklyn that processed Monazite sands and following the supply chain back to Haut-Katanga, Congo. In doing so, I want to think more about the ways that the colony is materially present, via its toxic trace, in Brooklyn today.
