Ike Uri's research focuses on the politics of climate adaptation and resilience planning in Indian cities. Primarily considering recent developments in the city of Mumbai, he researches how local and regional politics as well as forms of knowledge and expertise lead to particular framings of nascent risks. Ike asks how such conceptualizations, within the complex context of urban governance and with the influence of external consultants, structures climate solutions.
