Jacob Fabian's current research interest is the intersection between public policy and environmental issues. He's very interested in examining the effectiveness of environmental policy through a public finance lens. Greenhouse gas mitigation policies such as carbon taxes, subsidization of renewable energy sources, large-scale “green” infrastructure investment, or restrictions on fossil fuel extraction are just some examples of which Jacob hopes to direct his research.
