My current project focuses on analyzing changes in summer convective precipitation in the New England region as a result of warming. As one of the oldest regions in the U.S., New England's aging infrastructure may be increasingly vulnerable to the intensifying precipitation. My goal is to understand how these changes could potentially overwhelm infrastructure while also investigating the characteristics and triggers of high-intensity convective precipitation events.
