Biography

I am currently working on refining and generalizing the approximation of unresolved physical processes in ocean models. We hope to improve the simulation of coherent water masses as they take up excess, anthropogenically trapped heat from the atmosphere and distribute it throughout the World Ocean, ultimately bettering predictions of the effects of global warming on steric sea level rise and large-scale ocean dynamics such as the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation.
