Liza Davis research interests include the role of the environment and landscape in religious and ritual experience in ancient Greece. Specifically, she's interested in the transition from paganism to Christianity and how notions of sacredness, sacred landscapes, and sacred natural places are perpetuated and transmitted over time and across these different religious regimes.
