Biography

Madeline Wachsmuth is a senior from Portland, Oregon concentrating in Education Studies and Environmental Studies at Brown. She is in Brown's Baccalaureate/Masters of Arts in Teaching 5th year program and is excited to teach environmental science and biology in Providence. On campus, Madeline has been involved with OLEEP (outdoor leadership and environmental education program) and during her summers has participated in the Doris Duke Conservation Scholars' program at the University of Washington. Most recently, she interned with The Nature Conservancy on an estuary participating in vegetation data collection at a restoration site. During her junior spring, Madeline studied abroad in Morocco, Nepal, and Ecuador in SIT's Climate Change program.
