Biography

I am a Ph.D. student in the department of Religious Studies at Brown University. My dissertation explores the power of environmental reverence during the Anthropocene. A blend of ethnographic research and normative ethics, this work seeks to revise our understanding of the relationship between, on the one hand, the affects of awe, wonder, and enchantment, and on the other, passionate political action in the service of environmental justice.
