Biography

Mira Guth's research focuses on the intersections of human, animal, and environmental health, as well as how scientific experts and policy-makers are responding to the proliferation of health threats that cross species borders. She is particularly interested in how livestock veterinarians navigate the tense interface of animal agriculture and public health, exploring themes of multispecies care, expertise, and health governance on a rapidly changing planet.
