Biography
Nina Franzen Lee's research work and interests have focused on the impact of environmental exposures in vulnerable populations and considers how the distribution of these exposures can intensify existing social inequalities. Specifically, she's interested in how noise and air pollution influence the health and development of children unequally exposed through their environment. Nina Franzen is using environmental noise monitoring data to create spatial models to predict early childhood outcomes in Rhode Island.
