Biography

Olivia is a senior from Shanghai double-concentrating in Environmental Studies and English. She is passionate about environmental justice, sustainable urban planning, and environmental storytelling. This past summer Olivia interned at The Nature Conservancy in Rhode Island through the IBES Summer Internship Program. Through this internship, Olivia worked on a number of plans for climate resilient infrastructure and would love to share her experiences. She has also worked in the China-based non-profit Green Initiatives. At Brown, she’s a coordinator for BRYTE, a co-founder and editor of The Forager (an environmental literary magazine), a website editor for Strait Talk (a China-Taiwan-US relations club), and involved in a number of other clubs. Olivia is more than happy to talk about navigating IBES and other campus resources, searching for environmental internships, and anything else that’s on your mind!
