Rachel Nusbaum is a political theorist whose dissertation project centers on responsibility. Her project asks whether the standard ways of understanding this concept are suitable for grappling with the major issues we face today, particularly the challenge posed by climate change and its associated impacts. Rachel's particularly interested in the work and words of climate activists who, she argues, represent an alternative that has proven far better at generating responsive action.
