The Climate Solutions Initiative, a collaboration between IBES, the Office of the Provost, and the Watson Institute, is dispelling this inertia on multiple scales. From guiding colleges and universities toward decarbonization, to investigating obstacles to climate reform in Providence, to identifying, understanding, and breaking down barriers to change in all six New England states, and beyond, the Climate Solutions Initiative aims to curb climate inaction locally and globally through scholarship, learning and research-informed infrastructure changes.
