Biography

Adam is a double concentrator in Environmental Science and Urban Studies. His interests within the concentration include (but are certainly not limited to) climate change, nature conservation, ornithology, sustainable design, stormwater flood control, and food systems. This past summer, Adam interned at the Roger Williams Park Conservancy in Rhode Island. He designed and distributed a survey for park visitors, and then proposed subsequent improvements in the park. This fall, he is working with the Narragansett Bay Estuary Program, and is studying abroad in Amsterdam in the Spring. At Brown, Adam works as a Meiklejohn, a library employee, a production member in the Brown Motion Pictures club, the student representative on the Office of Sustainability Emissions Committee, and is a member of the Farmlink club. For fun, Adam likes to read, go to the beach, bike, and play piano. He is happy to discuss the various ENVS tracks, double concentrating with ENVS, study abroad, searching for internships, or anything else!
