Geetika Nagpal is currently working on a project looking at the impact of electrification on agricultural outcomes, focussing on how electric pumps might help reduce the reliance of farmers on rain-fed irrigation and mitigate rainfall shocks. Nagpal is broadly interested in how urban development and sanitation policies affect the welfare of individuals in developing countries.
