Biography
Jasper’s work focuses on environmentalism and climate politics, exploring the factors that affect the development of coalitions for a just energy transition. He is currently studying the relationship between labor and environmental movements in the US through the case of Environmentalists for Full Employment – an organization that attempted to broker some of the first sustained alliances between major labor unions and environmental groups in the 1970s and 1980s.
