Biography

Nathaniel Russo is a sophomore from New York City double concentrating in the newly created Environmental Sciences and Studies degree as well as Economics. On campus, Nathaniel is Co-President of the Future of Sustainable Investing Conference (FSIcon), the largest student-led sustainable finance conference that brings together industry professionals and students every year. He is also a volunteer with Brown Market Shares (a CSA program), a general body member of Brown’s Socially Responsible Investment Fund (SRIF), and a TA for Brown’s introductory Economics course Principles of Economics. Nathaniel is also a proud Eagle Scout who worked with an environmental non-profit on his Eagle project in the South Bronx. This past summer, he interned for the New York League of Conservation voters as well as worked as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst for a healthcare startup in Cape Town, South Africa. When he’s not working, Nathaniel is busy cooking up a storm in his friends’ kitchens so feel free to reach out to him for any information about ENVS or just a good recipe!
