Biography
Broadly, my research agenda is interested in the political mechanisms that encourage stronger climate policy, particularly in the role that subnational governments—particularly city governments—can play in international climate governance. Most of this research is tied to questions about the perceived efficacy of different actors on the global stage in responding to issues of climate mitigation and adaptation. Currently, I am working on a separate project examining the appeal of different types of climate policies with voters in U.S. states.
